Refreshing a channel in Tareno

Social platforms use access tokens to let Tareno publish and read account data. Those tokens can expire or be revoked.

Refresh a channel

  1. Open Dashboard -> Channels.
  2. Find the channel that shows a warning state.
  3. Click the refresh or reconnect action.
  4. Complete the provider approval flow again.
  5. Return to Tareno and confirm the account is active.

When to reconnect immediately

  • A post fails because the account is no longer authorized.
  • The channel shows Needs refresh.
  • You recently changed the social account password or permissions.
